Beginning April 22, 2010, the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) is
requiring that all contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead‐based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

in October 2008. The company received $55,000 to perform crucial market validation and product engineering finalization related to the company’s nPower™ Personal Energy Generator (PEG). The nPower™ PEG captures the kinetic energy generated from walking or running and uses this renewable energy to power handheld mobile electronic devices such as cell phones, MP3 players, and iPods. Since they received funding, the company has been featured on ABC News, named as “One of the Most Promising Start-ups in America” by Business Week magazine, hosted Governor Ted Strickland at their small office located in the Tremont area of Cleveland, OH, and was featured on NPR’s program “All Things Considered.”
